Join this fun, hands-on introduction workshop where you will learn how to make printed patterns on fabric with plants through the Tataki-zomé method, a Japanese technique for printing with plants. We will collect flowers from around the library campus and then hammer them onto fabric to create our own designs. It is a sustainable, non-toxic and unique way to usher in Summer time. Fabric will be provided but please feel free to bring a hammer and flowers from your garden (any flowers with color will work).
The workshop is led by Christalena Hughmanick
