Welcome to 2026: Community, Reflection, and Going Deeper

2026 is here.

I still remember writing the first post of 2025.

It feels both like yesterday and like a lifetime ago.

Time has a funny way of doing that, rushing past us while somehow dragging its feet at the same time.

2025 was turbulent. In good ways, and in hard ways.

The world feels shaky, uncertain, and at times overwhelming. And because of that, community matters more than ever, not as a trending word, but as something real, lived, and felt.

Over the past year, Totally Human has been quietly finding its place in all of this. We’ve spent a lot of time exploring what community actually means to people, not in theory, but in practice. Listening more. Collaborating more. Asking better questions. Strengthening our research so we can create thoughtful, meaningful educational work for our members, and for anyone who might need it beyond our walls.

Looking back, 2025 was a year of self-exploration, growth, and orientation. A year of figuring out where we stand, and why we stand there.

2026 will be different.

This year is about going deeper.

A year of research. A year of curiosity. A year of carefully unpacking the true meaning of community. What it looks like, how it works, and how it can be nurtured in a world that often pulls us apart.
